How to Make Arisi Paruppu Sadham
Wash and soak rice and dal for 30 mins. Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add mustard, cumin, dry red chilli, asafoetida and curry leaves. in goes onions, garlic and saute for 2 mins. Add in tomatoes and mix well, salt and turmeric and mix well. Add spinach and mix well. Add drained rice and dal, along with water. Bring it to a boil and cook for 3 whistle and simmer and cook for 5 mins. Turn off the heat and let the steam go by itself. Add coriander leaves and ghee and mix well. Serve.
