About Chocolate Lassi

I had a friend visiting me yesterday evening, and I wanted to serve her something refreshing as the days are really hot. So, I made this delicious chocolate lassi for her. This lassi is a variation of the classic sweet Lassi with chocolate added. It comes together quickly using a few simple ingredients. You can serve it as an evening snack or any time during the day when you feel like sipping something refreshing. Kids will love this drink, too.

Storage Suggestions

Chocolate Lassi tastes best when served fresh. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge in a covered container for about a day. Shake well before consuming. If using homemade yogurt, make sure it’s not too sour. Sweetened Condensed Milk makes the lassi rich and thick and also adds sweetness. Chocolate – I prefer Cadbury’s chocolate, but you can use any chocolate you choose. Others – You will also need whole milk (full-fat milk), sugar, and water. You can adjust the amount of sugar as per your taste. Whisk 3 cups of chilled plain yogurt, 2 cups chilled water, and ¼ cup sugar in a bowl using a wire whisk until the mixture is frothy and the sugar is dissolved. Garnish with chocolate curls and serve chilled.
