How to Make Gooey Pudding Cake
Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Grease a baking pan with butter and set aside. Now take all ingredients given in the cake list in a bowl and mix well. The batter will be thick. Now spoon this into the pan and spread evenly. Take the topping ingredients in a bowl, except water and mix well. Sprinkle this mixture all over the cake and pour hot water gently over it. Now pop this in oven and bake 25 to 30 mins. Now remove this and set aside to cool for 5 mins. Scoop and serve with ice cream. Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you.

All Purpose Flour / Maida  - 3 tblspn Cocoa Powder - 2 tblspn Sugar - 2 tblspn Baking Powder - ¼ tsp Butter Melted - 2 tblspn Chocolate Chips - 4 tblspn Milk - 2 to 3 tblspn Vanilla - ½ tsp
For Sauce:
Sugar - 3 tblspn Brown Sugar - 3 tblspn Cocoa Powder - 2 tblspn Boiling Water - ½ cup

Version 3 - Self Saucing Chocolate Pudding (with Eggs)
I made this pudding just now and served it with cold ice cream..I should tell you this..It tasted awesome..Each mouthful just gave me the wonderful flavour of chocolate and rich coffee. If you are a coffee lover like me then you will love it.  This is a pretty simple recipe but has a very strong coffee flavour. I was planning to make this pudding for a week but somehow it didn’t happen that easily. I was a bit worried because of the delay. Even had dreams about making this dish..He He.. And finally I made it today..YAY..   Ingredients for making self saucing pudding
Flour – 1 cup / 110 gm  Sugar – ½ cup / 100 gm  Baking powder-2 tsp  Cocoa -2 tsp  Butter-2 tblspn melted  Milk – ½ cup / 120 ml  Cashews / Walnuts / Almonds -3 tblspn  Egg-1 ( Substitute for Egg = 1 tblspn thick Curd/Yoghurt )  Salt a pinch
For the Topping Sauce: Â
Sugar- ½ cup / 100 gm  Cocoa -3 tblspn  Black Coffee – 1 cup / 120 ml ( 2 tblspn instant coffee mixed with 1 cup of hot water)
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180°C / 360°F.    Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, cocoa together.    In a mixing bowl add sugar, butter, milk, egg and mix well. Now add the dry ingredients over the wet ingredients and mix well.   Add in cashews and mix well.    Pour this in little ramekins or any buttered dish.Now mix all the sauce ingredients together and pour over the batter.   Bake it the oven for 20 mins..Remove this and let it cool for a min.  Serve it hot with a scoop of ice cream or fresh cream.
