Opt for good-quality nectar for the best taste. You will find it in the juice aisle of your grocery store or supermarket. You can also use apricot nectar or peach nectar instead of pear nectar. Apricot Juice or Peach Juice also works fine. Pumpkin Puree – It is the star ingredient of this pumpkin drink. You can buy canned pumpkin puree or make it home using my easy-peasy Pumpkin Puree recipe. Pumpkin Pie Spice – Pumpkin pie spice makes this drink warm and cozy. This should not be missed. How To Make Pumpkin Juice

Combine

4 cups of non-alcoholic apple cider 3 cups of orange juice 2 cups pear nectar ¼ cup brown sugar 2 cups pumpkin puree 2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

in a large pot. Heat on medium-high heat until the juice just starts to boil, stirring frequently to avoid scorching at the bottom of the pan. Once the juice comes to a boil, reduce the heat to low and cook for 10-15 minutes. Stir frequently. Finally, add 2 teaspoon vanilla extract and mix well. Serve hot or chill for 4-5 hours before serving. You can add a cinnamon stick to the serving glass to stir the juice.

Pro Tips By Neha

Pass the juice through a fine mesh strainer if the pumpkin puree has not dissolved properly. Spike it with any alcohol of your choice (bourbon, rum, vodka, tequila, etc) to make an adult version. You can use apricot or peach nectar in place of pear nectar. If these nectars are unavailable, you can puree the fruits with water and use the puree in the recipe. You can pour your pumpkin juice straight from a large pitcher, but use a ladle to serve it from a large pot or a cauldron for extra fun.
