All Purpose Flour / Maida - 2 cup / 240 grams Sugar - 1 cup / 200 grams Cocoa Powder - 6 tblspn Oil - ½ cup / 120 ml Water - 11/2 cup / 360 ml Cornflour / Cornstarch - 4 tbsp Salt - ½ tsp Baking Soda / Cooking Soda - 1 tsp Vanilla Essence - 2 tsp Vinegar - 2 tbsp
For Decorating:
Whipped Cream as needed (RECIPE HERE) Cherries - 1 cup chopped + few whole for topping Syrup that comes with cherry as needed for soaking cake Chocolate Curls and Shaving as needed
I used a plain eggless chocolate sponge cake recipe and then layered it with some canner cherries, whipped cream. I didn’t go for the chocolate topping. But you can decorate this cake as you wish.. Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you..
