Fish Cutlets Recipe with step by step pictures. This recipe is a very popular appetizers made with fish, veggies and spices are coated in flour mix and breadcrumbs, and deep fried to perfection. Last week when i made fish biryani, i had some leftover fish lying around. So i thought to give this cutlet a try. It is so simple to make, there is just simple stuffs going in this recipe. Finally the cutlets came out so yummy and my sisters loved it so much. The cool thing about this is, you can make the cutlet patties and freeze them, so whenever you need them, you can just fry them and serve.
Ingredients for Fish Cutlets Recipe
Fish - 1 cup boiled or fried ( deboned and shredded) Potatoes - 2 medium size (boiled, peeled and mashed) Onion - 1 small finely chopped finely Green Chilli - 1 finely chopped finely Curry leaves - 1 spring chopped finely Oil - 1 tsp + for deep frying Coriander leaves / Cilantro - ½ cup chopped finely Chilli powder - 1 tsp Garam Masala powder - 1 tsp Salt to taste Breadcrumbs - 1.5 cup All Purpose Flour / Maida - ½ cup Cornflour / Cornstarch - ¼ cup Water as needed to make thin batter
