I am not a big fan for fish. But last weekend I absolutely fell in love with fish, when I tasted fish manchurian and this fish tikka. I never thought that fish taste so goodwhen had Chinese style and when it gets a grill twist. I used the basic tikka masala recipe, but I didn’t marinate it for a long time since it is fish.I thought of using the oven to grill these, but due to the frequent power cut in our place my plan got completely failed. So I decided to grill it tawa. Still these tikkas turned out beautiful. Each piece of fish was so beautifully cooked and tastes amazing. They were spicy, tangy, flaky and just melts in your mouth. Each piece of fish absorbed all the flavours which you add there. All together it was a special dish.Try it out and you will knowwhy it is so special. You can cook this in oven too. Preheat the oven to a grill mode at 220 Degree C/450 Degree F . Arrange the skewers on an oiled foil lined baking tray and cook in the oven for 10-15 mins. Take the tray from the oven half way through and flip the skewers over and cook again.You can skip the skewering process and cook the fish as it is.
