Gatte Ki Sabzi with Tomatoes
Ingredients for Making Gatte
1 cup Gram flour 2 tbsp Ginger Green Chilli paste 2 tsp Red Chilli powder 1 tsp Turmeric powder Salt to taste ⅓ cup Yogurt 2 tbsp Ghee Water as needed
Ingredients for Making Sabzi
2 tbsp Ghee 1 tsp Cumin Seeds 1 tbsp Ginger Green Chilli Paste 2 Tomatoes chopped finely 1 tsp Turmeric powder 1 tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder 2 tsp Cumin powder 1 tbsp Coriander powder 1 cup Curd | Yogurt 3 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped finely

2)Add spice powders. Pin 3)Sprinkle ajwain seeds Pin 4)Season with salt Pin 5)Add ghee Pin 6)Rub the flour into the ghee. Pin 7)Mix well. Pin 8)Shape it into logs. Pin 9)Set aside. Pin 10)Add in boiling water Pin 11)boil till cooked. Pin 12)cut into pieces, set aside with the cooking liquid. Pin 13) Take yogurt in a bowl. Pin 14) Add in spices powder Pin 15)add in cumin powder. Pin 16)Mix well Pin 17)Heat ghee in a pan. Add in cumin seeds. Pin 18)Add in little asafoetida. How to Make Gatte Ki Sabzi
Start by making gatte. Add all ingredients to form a sticky dough. Wet your hands and take small portion of the dough and shape it into a log like. Now add it into boiling water and cook for 8 to 10 mins till the gatte floats to the surface of water. Remove it and set aside in a plate. Cool the gatte and cut into pieces. Set aside. For making the sabzi, heat ghee and add in cumin seeds and let them sizzle. Add in ginger and chilli paste and saute for 1 min. Pour in tomatoes and cook that for 4 to 5 mins till cooked. Add in the cooked gatte and mix well. Add in spice powders and mix well. Pour in the whisked yogurt and salt and mix well. Cook that for 4 to 5 mins. Add in coriander leaves and mix well. Serve.
