How to Make Erachi Choru at Home
Replace mutton with 1 kg chicken in the recipe. Once chicken is mixed with masala. set aside. heat biryani pot with ghee and add spices. Add chicken directly into the pot and cook for 15 mins. For 4 cups of rice add in 6 cups of water into the chicken and add rice. Cook on medium low heat till it is done. it will take around 15 to 20 mins. Turn off the heat and leave for 15 mins. Serve with raita.

1)Soak basmati rice in water for 30 mins. Pin 2)Take mutton and chopped onions in a pressure cooker. Pin 3)I used boneless mutton. Pin 4)Chop tomato, green chilli, coriander leaves and mint leaves in a food processor. Tips & Tricks
The total water content should be 1:2. For 1 cup rice you need 2 cups water. You can reduce the water to 1.5 cup too. You can make it with chicken instead of mutton. For chicken you don’t have to pressure cook. Just add it in the pot and cook for 15 mins and then add water and rice. Taste the water before adding rice and adjust salt, chilli powder. The water has to be little salty so the rice will be flavourful.
