on Jan 28, 2023, Updated Oct 02, 2023 As strawberries are in season, try some of my other favorite strawberry recipes: Whipped Strawberry Butter, Strawberry Cobbler, Strawberry Banana Pineapple Smoothie, and Instant Pot Strawberry Jam. To be honest, I have still not grasped the hype about the K-drama. Many people rave about them, but I have yet to join the bandwagon, though I may someday soon. On the contrary, I have been trying many Korean dishes and have loved them. I have bought multiple tubs of their chili paste Gochujang and used it to make salads, chicken wings, fried rice, etc. This Korean-style strawberry milk is my latest addition to the Korean recipes.

Making Korean-style strawberry milk at home has many benefits The best part is that it can be customized according to your requirements. You can make it vegan using coconut, almond, or soy milk. You can also make it healthier by reducing the amount of sugar or using honey or maple syrup. When strawberries are in season and cheap in summer, I freeze them in bulk and use them throughout the year. If you want to know how to freeze strawberries, check out my post. Refrigerate the strawberry syrup for 1-2 hours until it is chilled. Swirl it up and around the glass to make a pattern.  Add 2 tablespoon of chopped strawberries to each glass. Now pour 1 cup of chilled milk into each glass and serve immediately with a stirrer.  Stir well before sipping. Note – You can top the drink with whipped cream or ice cream and add a few ice cubes to the glasses. If you like your milk sweeter, add more sugar to the syrup.
