Tindora / Kovakkai - 500 grams cut into rounds Salt to taste Chilli Powder - 1 tsp Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp Oil - 3 to 4 tblspn Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp Curry leaves - 2 sprigs

How to Make Kovakkai Poriyal
Take tindora, salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder in a bowl and mix well. Leave to marinate for 30 mins. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard and curry leaves and let them sizzle. Add in tindora and toss well. Keep cooking on medium high heat till it gets golden brown. Keep mixing. Serve with rice.
