Kulukki sarbath is a drink which got in trend very recently. It got so popular and was sold across tamilnadu street side. This Summer drink is made in so many flavours by adding fruit crushes into it. Popular kulukki are mint, mango, kiwi, pineapple and chillies.
How to Make Kulukki Sarbath
Basil Seeds - basil seeds or sabja is used in this lemonade for texture and look wise. It doesn’t add much taste to the drink but gives a good mouth feel. Nannari Sarbath - nannari is a syrup made using nannari roots and sugar. it has its own aroma and pleasant fragrance. This syrup is very good for health as well. It adds sweetness and aroma to your drink. Lemons - one of the important ingredient which adds the tang to the drink. Ginger- adds its own natural spiciness to the drink. Sabja or basil seeds can be soaked in advance and kept in fridge till use. If you don’t have cocktail shaker, just use a bottle. All the ingredients are to taste so adjust it as per need. Serve the drink cold for best taste. Nannari syrup can be skipped and simple syrup can be added.
