How to Make Methi Matar Pulao Recipe
Soak kasuri methi leaves in water for 2 mins. Drain it and squeeze well. Set this aside for a moment. Heat oil and add in mustard and fennel seeds and allow it to crackle. Add in onions, green chilli and cook till translucent. Add in chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder and mix well. Now add in tomatoes, capsicum and mix well.Cook till it turns mushy. Add in the drained kasuri methi leaves, peas and toss well. Add in rice and toss well..Let it get heated through. Squeeze some lemon juice and mix once.
