Mascarpone is a soft, acid-set cream cheese from Italy. It is classified as a traditional agricultural product (PAT) in Italy (traditional agri- food product). Mascarpone is a fresh cream-based triple-creme cheese. This was traditionally made from the fresh milk of cows that grazed on pastures filled with fresh herbs and flowers. The best option is still fresh milk, but a great Mascarpone can also be made with store-bought cream. Mascarpone is thought to have originated in the Italian region of Lombardy, between Lodi and Abbiategrasso south of Milan, in the late 16th or early 17th century. The name is commonly attributed to mascarpa, an unrelated milk product made from the whey of stracchino (a young, barely aged cheese), or to mascarpia, a word inthe local dialect for ricotta. Mascarpone, unlike ricotta, is made from cream rather than whey. A cheesecake is a sweet dessert with one or more layers. The main and thickest layer is made of a soft, fresh cheese, eggs, and sugar. Cream Cheese - ½ cup (RECIPE HERE) Mascarpone Cheese - 1 cup (RECIPE HERE) Sugar - ½ cup Powdered Vanilla Essence - ¾ tsp Gelatin - 1 tblspn Cold Water - 3 tblspn Digestive Biscuits - 10 to 12 biscuits Butter - 5 tblspn melted Strawberries sliced for topping
This cheesecake is made with mascarpone cheese and cream cheese, both are made at home so it is even more delicious but a little time consuming. If you buy it from shops, then u can make this cheesecake in a matter of minutes. The original recipe calls for whipped cream as well. But i skipped it because i thought the mascarpone cheese will give the lightness the cheesecake want and also i added a little bit gelatin to make the cheesecake set in place.

Mascarpone Cheese :Mascarpone has a mildly sweet, almost nutty flavour with a fresh buttery flavour. It has a milder flavour than comparable cheeses such as ricotta and American cream cheese. Gelatin :Gelatine is used in some no-bake cheesecakes to give them a mousse-like texture. Cream cheese or cream cheese and whipped cream are used in other no-bake cheesecakes.
