The rising time  depends on the temperature of each place. Allow it to rise till it gets triple in size each time. To get perfect slice. Keep the bread in fridge for couple of hours and then slice to get perfect slice. I kept the loaf in fridge overnight and made it into thick slices  for making french toast. You can make this panettone into french toast or puddings. Feel free to use more flour as needed. But don’t make the dough so stiff, the dough should be slightly sticky. That sticky dough make softest bread. Use any dry fruits as you like, cranberries, dates, candied peels, citrus peels can be used. Increase the amount of sugar, if you need the bread to be sweet.

How to Use Left-over Panettone

Mix 2 eggs, ½ cup milk, 2 tbsp sugar, 1 tsp vanilla. Dip panettone slices in the egg mixture and cook them in butter till golden on both sides. Serve panettone french toast with powdered sugar.
