The star ingredient of this recipe is the popular parle G Biscuits, which I am sure every Indian has grown up eating. It is a one-bowl recipe, which means adding all the ingredients to a mixing bowl, mixing, and then baking it. Yes, that’s easy, right? Make this Parle G cake as an easy dessert, tea time snack, birthday, or special occasion. Others – You will also need granulated white sugar, vanilla extract, neutral-flavored oil, milk, baking powder, baking soda, and chopped mixed nuts. Break 9 oz (260 g) Parle G biscuits into small pieces and add them to a blender or a food processor along with ¼ cup granulated white sugar. Blend to make a smooth powder. Add the following ingredients and whisk to make a lump-free batter.
2 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 tablespoon oil 1 cup milk
Whisk well once again. Add 1 teaspoon baking powder and ¼ teaspoon baking soda to the bowl and mix well. Garnish with 2 tablespoon chopped mixed nuts. Tip: If the nuts start to darken in color before the cake has baked properly, cover the cake pan with aluminum foil. Remove the cake pan from the oven and transfer the cake to the cooling rack. Cool completely, cut into slices, and serve.
