Ingredients for Paruppu Rasam Recipe (Dal Rasam)
Tomatoes - 1 large chopped finely Green Chilli - 1 slit Toor Dal / Tuvaram paruppu - ½ cup cooked Tamarind Pulp - 2 tbsp Garlic - 5 cloves crushed Rasam Powder - 1 tbsp (i used store bought) Salt to taste Sugar - 1 tsp Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp finely chopped
For Seasoning:
Oil - 1 tsp Mustard Seeds / Kaduku - 1 tsp Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp Curry leaves - 1 sprig Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya Podi - ¼ tsp Dry Red Chilli - 1 broken
