Kaada Fry Recipe (Quail Fry)
Last Sunday hubby bought some quail and asked me to cook it for lunch. I have no clue how those look like, but once I saw those tiny thing, I decided to treat them like chickens because they looked like baby chickens. I marinated them in plain marinations and fried them. Actually They take less time to fry than chickens, the taste was so good.Everyone loved it a lot.
Ingredients for Kaada Fry Recipe (Quail Fry)
Quail / Kaada - 7 Oil for Deep Frying
For Marination:
Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tblspn Curry leaves - 1 spring Chilli powder - 2 tsp Pepper powder - 2 tsp Garam masala powder - 2 tsp Turmeric powder / Manjal podi - 1 tsp Salt to taste Lemon Juice - 2 tblspn Rice Flour or Corn Starch - 3 tblspn

How to Make Quail Fry Recipe (Kaada Fry Recipe)
Take all the marination ingredients except rice flour in a large bowl and mix well to a paste. Now add in quail and apply the marination all over the quail. Allow this to marinate for at least 2 hours. Now heat up oil for deep frying. Sprinkle some rice flour or corn starch over the quail and mix well. Drop quail in hot oil and fry till they turn golden brown and completely cooked through.This will take around 10 mins. Now remove this from oil. Serve this with raw onion rings and lemon wedge.
