Ingredients for Quick Spinach Dal
Yellow Moong Dal / Pasi Paruppu - ½ cup Spinach - 3 cups chopped finely Tomato - 1 large chopped Green Chilli - 2 Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp Water - 1 cup + more as needed Salt to taste
Ghee - 1 tblspn Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp Garlic - 4 cloves chopped finely
How to make Quick Spinach Dal
Take all the ingredients given except seasoning in a cooker. Pressure cook for 2 whistle. Turn off the heat and let the steam escape all by itself. Open the cooker and add salt and more water and bring it to a boil. Now make seasoning, heat ghee and crackle cumin seeds and add garlic. Fry till golden. Pour this over the dal and mix well. Serve with rice.
