About this Recipe
Ragi is a highly nutritious millet that looks similar to mustard seeds. Ragi can be easily ground up to make ragi flour, which can then be used to make a variety of Indian dishes such as ragi idli, ragi roti, and ragi sheera. It is high in protein and fibre, and it is gluten-free. The drought-resistant nature of the crop allows it to grow in a variety of geographical terrains across India. Local names for ragi in Kannada, Hindi, and Telugu, nachni in Marathi, madua in Bengali, and kezhvaragu in Tamil are among those used in India. Ragi is the millet king. There’s a reason why farmers eat it as porridge before beginning labor-intensive work in the fields. In South Indian households, it is also given to babies. For other finger food recipes, Check Here.
