Kulukki Sarbath is a pleasant summer drink from Kerala. The word sharbat comes from the Persian word sharbat, which means sugar and water drink. This was derived from the Arabic term shariba, which means to drink. Sarbaths are made with a variety of fruits and flowers, as well as ice. The Mughals brought Sarbath to India in the 16th century. This syrup is versatile and can be used to flavour a variety of dishes.

provides the spiciness to the sarbath
Sabja Seeds:
Sabja seeds help to neutralize the acidic effect of HCL in the body, which can bring relief from acidity and heartburn.
Ginger :
Ginger make the sarbath spicy and also very soothing to sore throats Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you. For this Kulukki Sarbath. I used my Homemade Rose Syrup.
How to Make Kulukki Sarbath
Start by making Simple Syrup. Take sugar and water in a saucepan. Bring it to a boil and mix till sugar is dissolved. Simmer for 5 mins. Switch off the flame and allow it to cool down. Store this in a clean sterilized bottle and keep in fridge till you need it. Soak sabja seeds in water for 10 mins. Set aside. Take all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake well. Pour it into glass and serve.
