Ingredients for South Indian Paruppu Kuzhambu
Toor Dal - ½ cup Tomato-1 chopped Garlic - 4 cloves peeled Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi - 1 tsp Water - 1.5 cup Salt-to taste Coriander leaves- a handful finely chopped
For Grinding:
Coconut - ½ cup Green chilli -2 Cumin seeds / Jeerakam -1 tsp
For Seasoning:
Ghee or Oil -1 tbsp Mustard seeds - 1tsp Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya podi - ¼ tsp Curry Leaves - 1 sprig
