How to Make Stained Glass Cookies
Take butter, sugar in a bowl and cream till fluffy. Add in vanilla, salt and mix well. Add in flour and mix well to form a dough. Wrap this in cling wrap and chill in fridge for 1 hour. Now roll this dough between two sheets of parchment paper or cling wrap. Use cookie cutter to cut out round shape. Now use a small cookie cutter to cut out middle round. Preheat oven to 180 degree C / 350 degree F. Now arrange it in a baking pan lined with parchment and bake for 7 to 8 mins till it is half cooked. Now remove the cookies from oven, sprinkle the candies into the small cut out holes. Pop it back in oven and bake for 5 more mins. The cookies should get light golden around the edges. Now remove from oven and let it cool for 10 mins. Store in an air tight container.
