Build your own fancy deli sandwich at home! This sandwich is incredible—simple but incredible! It’s loaded with turkey and ham, don’t you hate the sandwiches that are so skimpy with the meats? It’s the centerpiece of the sandwich. With that said quality meats mean a quality sandwich. You can use regular lunchmeat, but I definitely recommend going to the deli counter or even a specialty grocery deli if you have one near you. It’s worth it!
Toasted Turkey and Ham Sandwich
The turkey sandwich is a lunchtime staple, but doesn’t it get boring sometimes? Once you make this Toasted Turkey and Ham Sandwich, you’ll never go back to your stale sandwich. With just a few more minutes and upgraded ingredients, you can make your own deli-level sandwich (for a fraction of the price, too!). It’s worth the extra effort to have a lunch that you genuinely enjoy, instead of just eating something basic and fast to keep you going. Try this sandwich with your favorite toppings and remixes, like salami and pepperoncini or bacon and avocado.
Holiday Ham Leftover Sandwich
My favorite thing about this sandwich is that it gives me the perfect use for my leftover spiral-sliced ham. I often dice any ham we have left and freeze it. If I’m really lazy about it, I will even do it in the food processor, although I do prefer it diced by hand because you can determine the size of the dice. It just takes a bit longer. I also used my leftover ham for ham and cheese salads, ham eggs, or ham pizza. So don’t throw that leftover ham out—there are hundreds of uses for it and it freezes so well!
