How to Make Vendakkai Pulikari Recipe

Grind together coconut and red chilli to a smooth paste. Set this aside till use. Heat oil in a kadai and add in all the seasoning ingredients and let them sizzle for a min. Now add in okra and saute for 5 mins so it get rids of the sliminess. Now add in the spice powders, salt and mix well. Add a splash of water and cover with a lid. Let it cook for 5 to 8 mins till the okra is cooked. Now add in the coconut masala and more water. Mix them well. Add the tamarind pulp and mix well. Let this simmer for 5 to 10 mins. Serve with rice.
