About Watermelon Ginger Juice
Watermelon Ginger Juice is a perfect drink to sip on hot summer days. During summer, I try to make refreshing beverages for my family that are quick and easy to make and make the heat bearable by cooling down the body from the inside. And this watermelon and ginger juice is one of my favorites. It combines the sweet, fruity watermelon with a kick of ginger. This drink can be served any time of the day. I like to make a big pitcher and refrigerate it. Whenever anyone feels like sipping on something refreshing, it’s ready. This beverage is made with simple ingredients and comes together in under 10 minutes. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Variations
Add some cooked beetroot, celery, carrot, or berries like strawberry or raspberry while blending for a taste change. Ginger – Use fresh organic ginger. Others – You will also need freshly squeezed lemon juice, granulated white sugar, and ice cubes. Mint leaves can be used to garnish the drink.
4 cups deseeded and cubed watermelon 2 teaspoon chopped ginger ¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice 2 tablespoon granulated white sugar 1 cup ice-cubes
Blend until smooth. Pour the juice into two serving glasses. Garnish with mint leaves. Add a few ice cubes and serve chilled. Adding ½ cup of tender coconut water to this recipe gives it a delicious, light, sweet coconut flavor. Top it with some soaked chia seeds. Add a splash of vodka, white rum, or tequila to make an adult version.
