Is payasam and kheer same?
Kheer is known as payasam or payasa in southern India, which means milk. The difference between kheer and payasam is that payasam is typically made with jaggery and has a thinner consistency. It is made with broken wheat, jaggery and coconut milk and it taste so yummy. I added sago in this which gives a nice texture to the kheer.
