About This Recipe
Whipped Strawberry Butter is unsalted butter flavored with sweet, juicy strawberries. Whenever strawberry season is here, I make sure to make this recipe, as everyone in my home loves it. It takes 5 minutes and 4 basic ingredients to whip it, and it magically transforms your everyday butter toasts into something you’ll crave for the entire day. This fluffy, creamy, sweet homemade strawberry butter tastes pleasantly sweet with a little tart from the fresh strawberries and lemon juice. Slather over hot rolls, bagels, pancakes, or waffles for a yummy breakfast treat. If using fresh strawberries, ensure you get firm and red ones with no soft spots or marks. They are tart and sweet and taste the best. If using frozen strawberries, thaw them to room temperature before using them in the recipe. Take ½ cup unsalted butter from the refrigerator and keep it on the counter for 30-40 minutes until slightly softened. Add the following ingredients to the jar of a small food processor.
½ cup of softened unsalted butter 3 tablespoon honey 2 teaspoon lemon juice
Blend at medium speed until the butter is light and fluffy. Scrape the sides of the jar a few times while blending. Transfer the butter to a glass container, secure the lid lightly, and store it in the refrigerator for up to 10 days. Bring the butter to room temperature before using it to ensure it spreads evenly.
